Skill 1: Putting.
On average, the amount of putts per round is 39.
Main rule:
Discover to roll the ball with over spin
Pendulum movement. Listen to the ball– not look!!
Long put: used the chip putting method?

putting Grip:
Hold the putter in the right hand with thumb and index finger—so it fits in the heel pad in your hand

Always practice putting one hand first. This will allow a popper grip hight and control on your putter then placing the other hand on the grip.
Set your weight forward first then make your stroke
putting Training:
Putt with a open stance and off back hip (to practice rolling instead of hitting the ball).
Five golf balls on the line – last Max 2,5 m from the hole. Putt it just with the lead hand to create feel and control.
Use aiming lines on the ball! And pick a spot in front of the ball to roll the ball over.

Skill 2: Chipping.

Why isn’t spin taught first to amateur golfers? It all starts with the chip and control spin.
The left foot is a little behind the right foot. Weight lean towards the front foot.
The sole must hit the ground first. using bounce with no divot.
Impact in the ground in front of the ball. Never take a divot. Swing goes 7, 5 on the clock for bounce.
Downhill/Uphill
Normal chip ball position front foot
More weight on the left/right foot to compensate hill.
keep swinging downward after ball is gone.
Thick lies
Hold down the shaft's regular grip.
Ball position back of centre and more weight on the front foot.
Skill 3: Pitch.
Remember: SPIN! SPIN! SPIN!
Weight on left foot.
Putting movement , "speed" gives more spin.
Longer stroke than a chip.
Important that sole hits ground first using bounce.
Impact in ground approx in front of the ball.
Pitch is best to use when you need to go over a hazard.

Skill 4: Bunkers.
Same Stands as putting, but left foot should be turned outwards.
Stroke from "line to line"
Enter the club on the breastbone.
Spin the ball out of bunker using bounce rather than hitting.
All sand between red lines should be removed from swing.
S.W. Has the most amount of weight for bounce
Wedges is best to use on high shots.
Can practice bunker shots by draw lines in the sand and swing without the ball.
Remember: imagine the ball is in the middle of saucer take all of the saucer out of the sand in your golf swing, never take a straight divot
always take rehearsal swings at 10, 5, 2 on the clock to get feel and lighten the club in your hands.
Fairway Bunker:
Use one club with lower number than normal.
"Pick" the ball – NO sand!
Ball position at right foot gives long shot, but low in the air.
Ball position closer to middle gives shorter but higher shot when you tilt.
always take rehearsal swings at 9, 5, 3 on the clock
Skill 5: Special situations:
Shots from roughs:
Normal ball position.
Hit down below the equator of the ball to create a backspin.
Weight on the front foot. try to leave the club in the rough after the hit
this is most important never swing the club above your hips for this shot.
rehears the swing beforehand to 9, 5, on the clock
(Same technique if the ball lies on the fairway)
Chip with putters:
You can use this if the grass is tight, lies just off green rolling the ball with over spin
This is a real shot-saver for mid-to-high handicappers and beginners.
Tips:
You should use techniques that keep the ball close to the ground if possible.
Putt when you can putt, chip putt when you can´t putt, chip when you can´t chip putt, pitch when you can´t, ¾ shot, and full swing when needed.
Never start from the middle of the TEE box. Either start left or right, depending on if you want to fade or draw.
For putting practice, put balls one foot from the hole, and continue every ball one foot apart behind each other.
Listen to the ball go into the hole, don´t look, listen!
Walk in a circle around the hole with eyes closed to feel the slopes with your feet
DISCOVER what torque you have in your shaft to compensate for the twist. The tighter your grip pressure, the more it twists in your hands.
Understand your swing speed before you start hitting 3 wood on the fairways.
