Heavy rough.

What is the earliest way to get spin on the ball to make sure you get out of rough every time? How do you hold the golf club properly way for this type of shot?

Heavy rough shot, you should grip down the shaft with the heel of the club and play this shot with backspin, so when you swing the club to your V where the release point is or to your lead foot, try to stop the club from going any further, this will create the shot for you to hit out of the heavy grass. Always take a few rehearsal swings beforehand to get the feel in your hands.
