What you need to know about water and how it affects the ball from spinning so you won’t get your normal Distance. The type of spin you need to counteract this, so you have control over your shots.

First, playing golf in the rain, always have extra gloves and towels and always keep them as dry as possible. When playing, you should try to keep the face of your club and your grip dry when you tee off. It would be best if you understood that the rain would affect how the ball spins, so it won’t go as far because the rain hits the dimples on a golf ball. Always take an extra club to be safe and play these with either cut shot or fade. Take rehearsal swings to feel the wet, heavy grass, so when you play the shot, you won’t be shocked by the feeling of the wet grass on the club. When you make the swing, golfers need to understand it’s not about how far you hit the ball in golf. It’s all about how many shots you play in a round of golf the win the prizes.
