You have to understand what works best for you and your body size, so you are always comfortable when you are swinging the club; you will always swing the golf club on the same plain. But not on the right path in the circle its important to know this.

Golfers need to understand the golf swing as a circle. You should swing the golf club around your sternum, not in a straight line, as golfers have been told ,as there are no straight lines in a circle. Imagine a foot path that you walk on and it has a curve so you need to follow the curve to stay on the foot path. well your golf swing works on a curve so you need to say on the curve when you swing a golf club and the ball will always get in the way of your golf swing.

The golf swing is a circle within a circle, but you never make a complete 360 swing in golf unless you have unnatural flexibility, so don’t even try it. The swing taught you should have on an imaginary clock within the circle, a chip shot should be 7 to 5 on the watch played with check spin. A pitch shot should be played on the clock from 9 down to 5 on the watch also with spin; a half shot on the clock is nine down to 5 and up to 3 on the clock with spin. A three-quarter shot should be played on the clock ten down to 5, and up to 2; with spin, this shot can be used for flop shots and bunker shots. The full shot is 11 on the clock, down to 5, and up to 12, it has to be comfortable when you swing. If you over-swing, you will reverse shift your weight and fall off balance in your golf swing. This is a rule of thumb for golfers; always take a few rehearsal swings before you play any of these shots.
